₹15000.00

Mohiniyattam is originated in the Indian state of Kerala. Mohiniatyam literally means 'dance of the enchantress'. This dance form is mainly performed by women.

The costume includes white or off-white Kasavu sari with bright golden border. Kerala style golden Jewelries are adorned by the dancers. The hairdo is one of the significant feature of this dance form, where the hair is gathered and tied into a smooth tight round chignon on one side of the head, typically on left side and the bun then ringed with fragrant jasmin flowers.

The painting is done around the elaborate background inspired from famous celebration of Thissur Pooram festival at Vadakkumnathan Temple, which is very famous for it's beautiful elephants adorning with nettipattam and its secular nature of celebration.

This artwork is ideal for collectors who appreciate figurative Indian art, dance-inspired paintings, and vibrant cultural expressions. It brings a regal yet soulful presence to any art collection.
